What to Expect at Total Health Chiropractic Center

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.

So, check us out here. Get to know us. Then, contact us to make an appointment so we can get to know you.

Your First Visit

New patients often remark how "homey" our office is.  That's good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable setting. After filling out some paperwork, you'll meet Dr. Albino. We explain everything first! We will spend about 45 minutes together. A complete health history will be taken, we will assess what is wrong by orthopedic tests, range of motion, palpation, neurological evaluation, and we may take some x-rays of the area of complaint. We will provide some therapy on that day as well.

Your Second Visit

On your second day, we will discuss your condition, based on your exam findings. We will also talk about what your options are and what our approach will be in order to get you as healthy as you can be. We will also explain how long your treatment will take and how much your treatments cost. Once you understand every aspect of what we found, you will receive your first treatment. I will then advise you on what you should do at home in order to speed up your healing process.

This two-visit approach accomplishes several things:

  • Reduces the length of your first visit
  • Gives us time to correlate our findings
  • Avoids overloading you with too much information

In certain situations, and in the professional judgment of Dr. Albino, we sometimes make exceptions. It just depends on your unique situation.

Regular Visits

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many patients become concerned that every visit will be of equal length.

In a word: no. A typical practice visit may require just five to 10 minutes.

But don’t think the brevity of a regular visit lessens its value! With the groundwork laid, we can quickly size up the condition of your spine and nervous system, adjust you and get you on your way.

Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before. Miss a visit and you can lose the momentum necessary to make the needed changes.

We recognize your time is valuable. So we do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.

Dr. Albino Asks some important questions of interest to Blanchester residents - Chiropractor Blanchester Dr. Albino Asks...

Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Blanchester parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
